This price includes everything for you to use your new saddle right out of the box: the saddle, built-in pad, stirrups, girth, and breast collar – all of which are fitted based on your provided measurements. Please note, we are a small company, so this cost does not reflect the cost of shipping if needed. The cost of shipping will vary depending on where you are located. We also add the payment processing charge for bank transfer, paypal, venmo, or credit card; Surcharge ranges from 1-3%. This charge can be avoided by paying with cash or check.
Yes, to all of the above breeds! The flexible sizing and straps fit draft horses all the way down to small ponies. There is also a ring on the back of the saddle if you wish to use a crupper.
You can absolutely mount from the ground. The saddle will remain firmly in place as you mount and ride over the steepest ascents and descents. After extensive riding and testing, we have never had the saddle slip out of place.
No. The saddle itself distributes the weight across the horse’s back, so an extra pad is not needed. If you want to keep the saddle from getting sweaty or dirty, you can put a protective layer like a horse blanket between the saddle and horse.
